Smart Micro Optics S.r.l., is an Italian innovative start-up. It is a spin-off of the Italian Institute of Technology.

Our main product is Blips, an ultra-thin lens which converts any smartphone into a microscope. 

We have started business in 2016 after successful campaigns on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. We are expanding our commercial network with resellers all around the globe.

Our products have been designed and developed in Italy and our manufacturing facility is in Italy. Our company is a spin-off of the Italian Institute of Technology.
